I wrapped you in the daylight of my smiles
Spoke the things hardest for me to say in the instrumental stares and our rhythmic embraces
Mopped your scent and squeezed them into the bucket of my forever
You've stayed with me ....

I thought I'd forgotten you
My little cobra ...
Those days you swayed to the cellos and violins of my cries ......
Today ...I brave the stings
I removed your fangs with the hands of acceptance
And I sing for you

The days I washed the dishes at the sink
And felt your arms around me
Felt your hands gliding against mine as the pine and rose petals of the dish washing liquid
Meshed the rainbows of our palms
You stayed with me ...


Nights extend longer as I taste memories
Bearing unbearable thoughts of what's gone

You have become my lungs ...
The colour of my iris
The wind of my world .....
I feel you ...even if it may not be my wish ...
